Patient Reviews

“I am 49 years old and this my first with braces. Initially I was anxious about the possibility of pain. Andrew, my dental consultant helped me to process my concerns and took time to explain to the process. Andrew did not minimize my feelings. I appreciate Andrew being patient, well informed and kind. I did not experience any pain just some slight tenderness. Dr. Wright just as patient, well informed and took time to listen.”

What Should I Expect from Zoom!® Teeth Whitening?

Hydrogen peroxide is one of the most effective solutions to use for teeth whitening. As it breaks down, the oxygen goes into the enamel and dentin of your teeth to whiten areas that are stained. Hydrogen peroxide does not damage or change the structure of your teeth and is considered very safe.

The Zoom!® teeth whitening treatment uses a 25% hydrogen peroxide solution. After it is applied to your teeth, a special light is used to intensify the cleaning power of the solution. We recommend that you have your Zoom!® teeth whitening treatment after a cleaning. The treatment takes about one hour.

You may experience some sensitivity after the treatment, and Dr. Marc S. Wright may apply a special gel to help diminish this effect. We provide you with a Zoom!® teeth whitening kit to use at home should you notice new stains developing. Avoiding foods, beverages, and activities such as smoking that will stain your teeth prolongs the results of the treatment.
