This stage is often done between the ages of 7 and 10 and may involve the use of expanders, limited braces, or Invisalign First. The goal is to reduce the need for more invasive procedures in the future and improve overall facial development.
Phase Two begins once all permanent teeth have come in, usually in the early teen years. This phase aligns the teeth for optimal function and aesthetics using braces or Invisalign. Because Phase One has already addressed foundational concerns, Phase Two is typically shorter and more efficient.
